Ingredients
  

For the Garlic Yogurt
  • 2 cups Greek Yogurt Dairy-free option available
  • 2 cloves Garlic Fresh is ideal
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice Use fresh for best taste
For the Spiced Beef
  • 1 pound Ground beef Can swap for ground lamb or turkey
  • 1 medium Yellow onion Shallots can be used
  • 1 tablespoon Sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato paste Finely chopped fresh tomatoes can work
For the Paprika Butter
  • 3 tablespoons Butter Or swap for olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika
For Garnishing and Serving
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes Any variety will do
  • 1 cup Fresh parsley Can substitute with basil
  • 1 cup Feta cheese Vegan feta can be used
  • 12 ounces Cooked pasta Fusilli, penne, or farfalle

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated garlic, lemon juice, and salt. Stir until smooth and set aside.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and sauté the onion until soft. Add spices, toast for 2 minutes, then add ground beef. Cook until browned, about 10 minutes, then mix in tomato paste and season.
  3. Melt butter in a small saucepan, stir in paprika, and allow to bubble for about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Combine the cooked pasta with the spiced beef in the pot until coated.
  5. Top with garlic yogurt and drizzle with paprika butter. Garnish with cherry tomatoes, feta, and parsley.
