For the Lobster Tails
  • 2 tails Lobster Tails Fresh or properly thawed frozen
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 4 tablespoons Butter Unsalted
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice Fresh
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
For the Garlic Herb Butter Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley Chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Chives Chopped
For the Creamy Mashed Potatoes
  • 3 cups Potatoes Peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup Milk Whole for richness
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Carefully cut the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise and lift the meat to rest on top of the shell.
  3. Melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a small saucepan, then add minced garlic, parsley, chives, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Brush half over the lobster tails.
  4. Place the lobster tails in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes until the meat is opaque and firm.
  5. Boil peeled potatoes in salted water for about 15 minutes until fork-tender. Drain and return to pot to steam.
  6. Mash the drained potatoes, gradually adding milk and sour cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Drizzle remaining garlic herb butter over baked lobster tails and serve alongside creamy mashed potatoes.
