Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Gather your ovenproof skillet.
- Slice the pears in half and remove the cores, keeping the skins intact.
- Melt the unsalted butter in the skillet over medium heat until fully melted.
- Sauté the pear halves cut-side down in the melted butter for about 2 minutes.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast the pears for 20 minutes.
- Flip the pears cut-side up, drizzle with balsamic vinegar, and roast for an additional 5 minutes.
- Drizzle honey over the pears and let rest in the pan before serving.
