Baking Instructions

  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a medium mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Melt the butter and mix it into the mashed bananas until fully combined.
  4. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla extract to the banana mixture and mix until homogeneous.
  5. Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the mixture, then sift in the flour and fold until just combined.
  6. Stir in any optional mix-ins like chocolate chips or nuts.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
  9. Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
