  • 16 pieces Frozen Potstickers store-bought for convenience
  • 4 cups Chicken or Vegetable Broth adds depth of flavor
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil can substitute with olive oil
Aromatics
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger freshly grated is best
  • 2 cloves Garlic finely minced
Vegetables
  • 1 bunch Green Onions for garnish
  • 1 cup Mushrooms optional
  • 2 cups Fresh Spinach or Bok Choy optional
Seasoning & Heat
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar optional
  • to taste Chili Oil or Red Pepper Flakes optional
  • to taste Salt and Black Pepper

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds.
  2. Pour in broth and stir to combine with aromatics. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  3. Add frozen potstickers and cook according to package instructions, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add sliced mushrooms and spinach or bok choy in the last 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in soy sauce and rice vinegar. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. Ladle soup into bowls and garnish with chopped green onions and chili oil if desired.
