  • 1 cup Hot Water To dissolve the Jell-O

  • 1 can Blueberry Pie Filling Homemade can be used for better flavor
  • 1 can Crushed Pineapple Drain well to prevent excess moisture
For the Creamy Topping
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened for easy mixing
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/4 cup Sugar Adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Drain the crushed pineapple to eliminate excess liquid.
  2. Dissolve the raspberry Jell-O in hot water, stirring until smooth.
  3. Fold the drained pineapple into the blueberry pie filling.
  4. Pour the dissolved Jell-O mixture into the fruit mixture and stir gently.
  5. Pour the combined mixture into an 8x8 glass serving pan and chill for 4 hours.
  6. Soften the cream cheese for about 30 minutes before mixing.
  7. Mix the softened cream cheese, sugar, sour cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  8. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the chilled blueberry layer.
  9. Chill for an additional hour before serving, optionally garnishing with pecans or fresh blueberries.
