  • 4 bags family-size tea bags Or 8 regular bags for classic flavor
  • 3 cups water To steep tea

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions for Iced Strawberry Tea
  1. Rinse 1-2 cups of fresh strawberries under cool water, pat dry, remove tops, and dice them.
  2. Combine the diced strawberries, 1 cup of sugar, and 2 cups of water in a saucepan. Heat over medium-high until boiling, then simmer for 20-30 minutes, mashing strawberries. Strain and cool in the fridge for 2-4 hours.
  3. Boil 3 cups of water and steep 4 family-size tea bags for 5-10 minutes. Remove tea bags and let cool.
  4. Stir 1 cup of sugar into the warm tea until dissolved, and let it cool completely.
  5. In a large pitcher, add steeped tea, 8-10 cups of cold water, chilled strawberry syrup, and juice from 1 lemon. Stir well and cover to chill for 2-3 hours.
  6. Serve over ice cubes garnished with lemon and strawberry slices.
