Step-by-Step Instructions for Creamy Garlic Mushroom Soup
  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté the onion for about 3–4 minutes until translucent.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  3. Stir in sliced mushrooms, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Cook for 8–10 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Sprinkle in flour and stir to coat the mushrooms. Cook for another 1–2 minutes.
  5. Gradually pour in broth while stirring. Increase the heat and bring to a simmer for 10 minutes.
