Step-by-Step Instructions for Quick and Easy Mango Slaw
  1. Gather a large mixing bowl. Dice 2 ripe mangoes, finely shred 2 cups of green cabbage, and grate 1 large carrot. Thinly slice 1 red bell pepper and 1/4 cup of red onion.
  2. In the same large mixing bowl, add all the chopped vegetables and fruits. Toss gently until well mixed.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons of lime juice, 2 tablespoons of honey (or maple syrup), and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the dressing over your mango and vegetable mixture. Toss gently until each piece is evenly coated.
  5. Allow the slaw to sit for about 5-10 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld together.
  6. Serve chilled or at room temperature, alongside grilled meats or in a wrap for a light lunch.
