Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil over high heat.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-low heat, add extra-virgin olive oil and sauté garlic for 2 minutes until golden.
  3. Increase heat to medium and add cherry tomatoes, cooking for 10-12 minutes until jammy.
  4. Sprinkle in red pepper flakes, kosher salt, and black pepper, then pour in heavy cream and simmer.
  5. Add gnocchi to boiling water and cook until al dente, about 2-3 minutes, reserving ½ cup cooking water.
  6. Drain gnocchi and add to the skillet with the sauce, incorporating reserved cooking water.
  7. Remove from heat, stir in fresh basil, and break burrata over the top before serving.
