Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Gather all your ingredients for the salmon croquettes.
  2. Flake the salmon by cooking fresh or draining canned salmon.
  3. Whisk together panko breadcrumbs and all-purpose flour.
  4. Mix flaked salmon with mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, bell peppers, cilantro, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and beaten egg.
  5. Fold the wet mixture into the dry breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Chill the combined mixture for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Shape the mixture into uniform balls or patties.
  8. Heat olive oil in a skillet until hot.
  9. Fry the croquettes for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  10. Alternatively, bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes.
  11. Check doneness with a thermometer; it should reach 165°F (74°C).
  12. Drain excess oil and serve warm with dipping sauces.
