  • 2 tbsp Creole Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Oregano
  • 1 tbsp Thyme
  • 0.5 tsp Cayenne Pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tsp Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper Adjust to taste.
For the Base
  • 2 cans Crushed Tomatoes
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1.5 cups Long-Grain Rice Can substitute with brown rice.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prep Ingredients: Cube the chicken and slice the sausage. Chop the celery, bell peppers, and onion, and mince the garlic.
  2. Layer Ingredients: Place chicken, sausage, celery, bell peppers, onion, and garlic in the slow cooker.
  3. Season: Sprinkle Creole seasoning, oregano, thyme, cayenne, salt, and black pepper over the ingredients.
  4. Add Liquids: Pour in crushed tomatoes and chicken broth, and stir gently.
  5. Cook: Cover and cook on low for about 6 hours or high for 4-6 hours.
  6. Add Shrimp: About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the thawed shrimp.
  7. Serve: Prepare rice and serve jambalaya over it, garnished with parsley.
