Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease the ramekins with unsalted butter.
  2. Place a layer of smoked salmon in each ramekin, followed by a tablespoon of crème fraîche, and sprinkle fresh dill on top.
  3. Crack a large egg into each ramekin, drizzle with heavy cream, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the ramekins in a baking dish and fill with boiling water up to three-quarters of the way up the sides of the ramekins.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the egg whites are set but yolks are still jammy.
  6. Carefully remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve with toasted baguette and garnish with dill or chives.
