  1. Drain the cooked fresh lump crab meat in a mesh strainer, ensuring any excess liquid is removed. Pat the crab meat gently with paper towels.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained crab meat with mayonnaise, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Add celery, chives, and Old Bay seasoning, along with salt and pepper to taste. Stir gently with a spatula.
