Preparation Steps
- In a small bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons of custard powder with a few tablespoons of warm milk until smooth. Set aside.
- In a saucepan, bring 1.5 cups of full-fat milk to a gentle simmer. Stir in 0.5 cups of sugar until fully dissolved.
- Slowly pour the custard mixture into the simmering milk while stirring continuously. Keep stirring for about 5 minutes until thickened.
- Reduce the heat to low and continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Gently squeeze the mini rasgullas to remove excess syrup and set aside some for garnishing.
- Fold the squeezed rasgullas into the cooled custard mixture, ensuring they are well coated. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
- Garnish with reserved rasgullas, nuts, and dried rose petals before serving.
