Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Crack eggs into a bowl, add sugar and a pinch of salt. Blend with a whisk.
  4. Gradually pour warm milk into the egg mixture, whisking continuously.
  5. Strain the mixture through a fine wire strainer into your round dish.
  6. Sprinkle ground nutmeg over the top and prepare a water bath.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 55 minutes.
  8. Let it cool in the water bath for about 30 minutes before refrigerating for at least 2 hours.
