- Carefully carve a shallow trench along the length of each ripe banana without cutting through.
- Spoon in the hazelnut cream into the carved trench of each banana.
- Cut the puff pastry into strips and wrap them around each filled banana, tucking the ends under.
- Arrange the wrapped bananas on the baking tray with space between each roll.
- Brush the surface of each banana with beaten egg and sprinkle sugar on top.
- Bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
