  • 15 oz Fresh Pizza Dough from grocery store or local pizzeria
For the Toppings
  • 1 medium White Onion can substitute with red onion
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil for sautéing and brushing
  • to taste Salt essential seasoning
  • to taste Garlic Powder essential seasoning
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese shredded for melting
  • 4 oz Goat Cheese pre-crumbled
For the Raspberry Balsamic Drizzle
  • ½ cup Balsamic Vinegar the star of the glaze
  • 1 cup Raspberries fresh or frozen
  • 2 tbsp Sugar to sweeten the drizzle
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch for thickening
  • 1 tbsp Water for cornstarch mix
For the Finish
  • 1 cup Arugula for topping before serving

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to fit your pizza pan, about ½ inch thick, and pre-bake for 8 minutes.
  3. Prepare the raspberry balsamic drizzle by combining balsamic vinegar, raspberries, sugar, cornstarch mixed with water, and salt in a saucepan and simmer for 8 minutes.
  4. Strain the simmered mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a bowl to remove raspberry seeds.
  5. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté sliced white onion for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Assemble the pizza by layering shredded mozzarella, crumbled goat cheese, and caramelized onions on the pre-baked crust, then brush the outer crust with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and garlic powder.
  7. Bake the assembled pizza for an additional 10-12 minutes until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden.
  8. Drizzle the raspberry balsamic glaze over the hot pizza, add arugula, slice, and serve.
