Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by boiling your eggs for about 10-12 minutes in a pot of simmering water until they are fully cooked. Once done, transfer them to an ice bath for a few minutes to cool down and prevent overcooking. Peel the eggs carefully and slice them in half lengthwise, setting aside the top halves while scooping out the yolks into a bowl.
  2. In the bowl with the yolks, combine a dollop of mayonnaise, a squirt of mustard, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Use a fork to mix this until smooth and creamy. This mix serves as the delicious filling for your Hard Boiled Egg BLT Bites.
  3. Take the bottom half of each hard-boiled egg and place a fresh lettuce leaf atop it, followed by a slice of Roma tomato. Next, add a quarter slice of cheddar cheese, and a piece of crispy bacon on top.
  4. Spoon a generous amount of the egg yolk mixture onto the bacon layer, making sure to cover it well.
  5. Carefully place the top halves of the eggs back onto the assembled bottoms. If needed, secure each assembled Hard Boiled Egg BLT Bite with a toothpick.
  6. Before serving, give each bite a light sprinkle of salt and freshly cracked black pepper to enhance the flavors.
