Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Crush pretzels to yield 2.5 cups. Combine with 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 cup melted butter. Press into a 9x13-inch baking pan. Bake for 10 minutes until golden. Let cool completely.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine 8 ounces of softened cream cheese with 1 cup of sugar. Beat until smooth. Fold in 16 ounces of whipped topping. Spread mixture over cooled pretzel crust.
  3. Boil 2 cups of water. Add 6 ounces of jello, stirring until dissolved. Fold in 1 quart of sliced strawberries. Allow to cool slightly until thickened.
  4. Pour the cooled jello mixture over the creamy layer. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours until set.
