  • 2 cups powdered sugar adjust to taste

Method
 

Cake Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch cake pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and spices.
  3. In another bowl, combine the wet ingredients: oil, eggs, and milk, whisking until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and fold together until just combined.
  5. Transfer the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes and check for doneness with a toothpick.
  7. Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack.
  8. Prepare the cream cheese frosting by beating cream cheese and butter until smooth, then add powdered sugar.
  9. Once the cake is cooled, frost it generously with the cream cheese frosting.
