Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the slider buns horizontally and place the bottom halves in a greased baking dish.
  3. Combine shredded chicken, mayonnaise, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  4. Spread the chicken mixture over the bottom halves of the slider buns.
  5. Layer cheese over the chicken mixture, then place the top halves of the buns back on.
  6. Melt butter and mix in optional parsley and poppy seeds; brush generously over the tops of the buns.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
