Ingredients
  

For the Tortellini
  • 12 oz Cheese Tortellini fresh or frozen works great
  • 1 tbsp Salt for boiling water
For the Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil can substitute with any cooking oil
  • 3 cloves Minced Garlic or garlic powder in a pinch
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream consider half-and-half or plant-based cream
  • 1/2 cup Chicken Broth substitute with vegetable broth for vegetarian choice
For the Extras
  • 1/2 cup Sun-Dried Tomatoes or fresh tomatoes but may change flavor
  • 2 cups Fresh Spinach can use other leafy greens like kale
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese vegan cheese can substitute
  • to taste Black Pepper adjust according to preference

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add cheese tortellini and cook according to package instructions (3-5 minutes). Drain tortellini and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring gently. Allow to simmer for about 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Add sun-dried tomatoes and spinach to the sauce and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the spinach wilts.
  5. Gently add the drained tortellini to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce for about 1 minute.
  6. Sprinkle in grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and black pepper. Stir and cook for another minute.
  7. Plate the Marry Me Tortellini, garnishing with additional Parmesan and fresh basil if desired.
