Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place hard taco shells upright in a baking dish.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, add ground beef and finely diced onion. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and taco seasoning, sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in tomato sauce or salsa and simmer for 5 minutes over low heat.
  6. Fill taco shells with meat mixture and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
