Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by heating 4 cups of filtered water to just below boiling, around 175°F (80°C). Place 4 green tea bags or 4 teaspoons of loose leaf green tea in a heatproof pitcher, and pour the hot water over them. Allow the tea to steep for exactly 3 minutes, then carefully remove the tea bags or strain the loose tea to avoid bitterness, letting the aromatic green tea cool.
  2. Once you’ve brewed your iced green tea, allow it to cool at room temperature for about 10 minutes. For further cooling, transfer the pitcher to the refrigerator and chill for approximately 30 minutes.
  3. While the tea cools, prepare the tropical mix. Juice 1 ripe mango and 1 cup of fresh pineapple bits to create a luscious base. In a large pitcher, combine the coconut water with the mango and pineapple juice. Mix well until fully incorporated.
  4. To serve your Tropical Iced Green Tea, fill clear glasses with ice cubes. Pour equal parts of the tropical coconut mixture into each glass, then gently pour the chilled iced green tea on top.
  5. For a delightful finishing touch, garnish each glass with a slice of fresh pineapple on the rim. Serve immediately.
