Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Crush 2 cups of pretzels into fine crumbs.
  2. Combine pretzel crumbs with 1/2 cup melted butter and 1/4 cup granulated sugar in a mixing bowl.
  3. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9x13-inch pan and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool completely.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat 1 cup softened cream cheese with 1/2 cup sugar until smooth. Fold in 8 ounces whipped topping.
  5. Spread the cream cheese layer evenly over the cooled crust.
  6. Boil 2 cups of water, stir in the instant strawberry jello until fully dissolved. Let cool for about 10 minutes.
  7. Mix in 2 cups hulled and sliced strawberries into the jello.
  8. Pour the jello mixture over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours until set.
  9. Once set, cut into squares and serve chilled.
