  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika or regular paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper lessen for milder taste
For the Potatoes
  • 1.5 pounds Baby Potatoes or regular potatoes, halved
For Cooking
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter or olive oil for lighter version
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil or vegetable oil
  • 6 cloves Garlic minced, or garlic powder
For Garnish
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley or thyme substitution

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the beef stew meat with Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, dried Italian seasoning, and smoked paprika. Toss until coated.
  2. Layer halved baby potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker and drizzle half of the melted butter and olive oil over them. Sprinkle the minced garlic on top.
  3. Place the seasoned beef on top of the potatoes and drizzle the remaining melted butter and olive oil over the beef.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours until the beef is tender and the potatoes are fork-tender.
  5. Gently stir the mixture to combine and garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
