  • 1 cup Strawberries Ripe for best flavor
  • 2 cups Water Purified or filtered
  • ¾ cup Cane Sugar Adjust to taste
  • 1 medium Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed
For the Soda
  • 6 oz Sparkling Water Homemade is suggested
  • 1 cup Ice Cubes Clear ice preferred
For Garnishing
  • Strawberries and Peach Slices Optional

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash and slice 2 ripe peaches and 1 cup of strawberries, then place in a medium pot with 2 cups of purified water, juice of 1 lemon, and ¾ cup of cane sugar.
  2. Set the pot over medium heat and bring to a low boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes while stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool before straining out the fruit solids into a sealable container.
  4. Fill a glass with ice, pour 2 oz of syrup over the ice, and top off with 6 oz of sparkling water.
  5. Garnish with additional sliced strawberries and peaches, then serve immediately.
