  • 1 pound Chicken Thighs Boneless or bone-in
For the Sauce
  • 1/3 cup Honey Maple syrup can be used as an alternative
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce Use tamari or coconut aminos for gluten-free
  • 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil High smoke point oil for searing

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken thighs, sear for 5-7 minutes until golden, flip and cook for another 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet.
  3. Reduce heat to medium, add minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Stir and scrape brown bits, simmer to create a sticky sauce.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over. Simmer for 8-10 minutes until cooked through and sauce thickens.
  6. Remove from heat, rest for 2-3 minutes. Serve drizzled with sauce over rice or with roasted vegetables.
