Step-by-Step Instructions for Crock Pot Beef Stew
- In a large plastic bag, combine the dry onion soup mix with paprika. Add the beef stew meat, sealing the bag and shaking it to coat each piece evenly.
- Lightly grease your 7-quart crock pot. Spread the seasoned beef evenly across the bottom.
- Layer the diced medium potatoes, baby carrots, and chopped yellow onion over the beef in the crock pot.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the cream of celery soup and ketchup until smooth. Pour this over the layered ingredients in the crock pot.
- Securely cover the crock pot with its lid and cook on low heat for 7 to 8 hours.
- Once cooked, stir the ingredients gently to combine. Serve hot.
