Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Finely chop green and black olives, pickled vegetables, and garlic. Combine with capers, parsley, celery, olive oil, and red wine vinegar. Season with oregano, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes. Let marinate overnight for enhanced flavors.
  2. Cut the sesame-crusted round loaf in half horizontally. Scoop out some of the interior to create space for fillings.
  3. Spread a layer of olive salad on the bottom half of the loaf. Layer with mortadella, capicola, and Genoa salami, followed by provolone and mozzarella cheese. Add more olive salad on top.
  4. Place the top half of the bread over the layered ingredients. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and press down with a heavy weight. Refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours.
  5. Unwrap the sandwich and cut into wedges or halves. Warm in the oven at 350°F for about 15 minutes, if desired.
